True orthodontic emergencies are very rare, but when they do occur we are available to help. As a general rule, you should call the office when you experience significant pain or when you have an appliance problem that you can't take care of yourself. If at all possible, call before first coming to the office, so we can discuss the issue and plan to help you. If your emergency is not during regular business hours, please call the office and follow the prompts for emergency care.
